The VTS-A000 Test Equipment is designed for automated Production tests for MIL1553 Buses in accordance to MIL-STD-1553B, Notice 4. The development of Validation test is currently in progress.
The VTS-A000 is composed of :

• A 19" rack containing all commercial instruments necessary for MIL1553 Bus testing;
• The SkyTech VTP-E000 Test Board, designed to perform signal switching, test signal generation and other functions necessary for driving the 1553 test procedures;
• The VTP Test Sequences, included in a TES architecture shell;
• A set of special cables ;

The VTS-A000 Test Equipment is featured with a complete set of test sequences and requires minimal assistance from the User; The test sequences are developed in accordance with the TES architecture, thus featuring the modularity and flexibility of the TES systems:

• Creation/modification of Test Sequences using simple commands, in text format, processed by a command interpreter;
• Possibility of nesting sequences and sub-sequences;
• Monitoring of critical parameters;
• Complete Log of the Test Session;
• A huge quantity of common Test Instruments integrated in the system;
• Automatic creation of Test Reports, containing:
• report of any single step and related test results;
• graphic objects from Test Instruments, such as oscilloscope waveforms;
• summary Tables, calculations, and graphs, using an automatic link to Excel;
• A Sequence Wizard, to allow unskilled operators to immediately create Test Sequences;
